Srijita is a doctoral student at the University of Southern California, where she studies the intersection of war and disease in modern Europe. Her dissertation looks at the 1918 influenza pandemic in the French and German armies, a topic that she has been working on since 2016. In addition to her Master’s degree in World History from New York University, she also holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Microbiology and History from the University of California, Davis.
