Bio Note:

Slater graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2019, where he served as an editorial assistant on the Book Review Section staff at The Historian. In January 2019 he presented his research on the mistreatment of American POWs in the Korean War at the Phi Alpha Theta conference in New Orleans, LA. He was a John R. Whitman Scholar in the National World War II Museum's Normandy Academy program in June 2019. He now studies U.S. military history at Austin Peay State University, where he published his research on the 2004 Battles of Fallujah in Theta Delta. He also serves as an editor on the Theta Delta staff and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant under Dr. Antonio Thompson.
