Bio Note:

Shawn P. Liming is a Ph.D. student in History at Ohio University and a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Non-Commissioned Officer. Shawn graduated from the University of Cincinnati with his B.A. in Geography. He received his M.A. in History under Dr. Willard Sunderland at the University of Cincinnati in April 2020. Shawn's dissertation focuses on Ukrainian resistance to the Soviet Union during World War II and the postwar era up to 1955. He will consider the dynamics of inter-resistance group conflict in Ukraine and surrounding areas.

Shawn is a member of the Albany, Ohio Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9893, Student Veterans of America, and the Commissioner for Veteran and Student Affairs for the Ohio University Graduate Student Senate. Shawn is a life-long fan of Cincinnati Bengals Football.
