Bio Note:

Lieutenant Colonel Paul J. Narowski II (USA Ret) graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is currently enrolled as a candidate for a Master of Arts in Military History (World War II concentration) through the American Military University.

Culminating his military service as a Battalion Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, Paul served nineteen of twenty eight years in Airborne or Special Operations units. His combat service includes three deployments to Afghanistan, and one deployment to Iraq as well as a contingency deployment to Central America.

Paul is a member of the World War II Airborne Demonstration Team of Frederick, Oklahoma, and serves on the board of directors for the 551st Parachute Infantry Association. He participated in the 75th Anniversary parachute drops to commemorate Operation DRAGOON and the invasion of Southern France in 2019.

The working title for his thesis is: "Geronimo and GOYA: The US Army's Independent Parachute Infantry Battalions and the US Army Personnel Crisis of 1944-45."
