Bio Note:

Robert is a PhD student from Alexandria, Virginia. He received a BA in History from Virginia Wesleyan College in 2006, and an MA in History from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007. Initially drawn to the Vietnam War by American diplomatic relations with the British Commonwealth, Robert is now interested in how the U.S. fought the war. Focusing on U.S. pacification efforts during the Vietnam War, his dissertation will examine how the U.S. Army’s pacification program in South Vietnam functioned after the 1968 Tet Offensive.
